[ Yves' life is more or less whatever Hel makes it to be. He works in her shop, he lives in her apartment and he doesn't mind that — not in the least. As soon as he gets her text, he's flipping the 'OPEN' sign on the shop door and bounding up the back stairs two at a time. When he gets into the apartment the smell is rank (worse than it usually is; worse than he's ever smelled before). Hel's there in the kitchen, right where she said she was and Yves kneels down beside her, his hands not hesitating to touch her to help her sit up if she wants to or to help make her more comfortable if she'd rather stay down.
