[ Her look gives him the answer that she doesn't speak right away. Kathleen has a hard enough time brokering what little self-worth that she has out of the things that she does with the powers given to her by Raphael. To have him heal her now would be just taking more out of the world than she was giving in. And she couldn't allow that, could she?

Still, she tries to keep her tone light. ] Wouldn't that be missing the point?

Not for me. [Kathleen is his minder but that makes her no less in need of his skills than any other human on the planet. Raphael can hardly think of anyone who qualifies so well for his attentions.]

Missing the point would be to let you shoulder too much alone. You aren't my minder solely to give your life for others.
