ancient stained glass windows smashed and destroyed...
historical research centers burnt to the ground...

Someone out there is trying very, very hard to erase all of the possible sources of power and belief of the ancient gods and goddesses. And it hurts. Whilst the powers of the minders are unharmed by the attacks, the gods and goddesses will be certainly feeling the toll: it's now painfully clear that even the simplest of miracles are now becoming almost impossible to perform.

deities, you had better have gifted your minders with some decent blessings! Because now you're going to rely on them more than ever. Someone is out to get you.

[ Lu glances once at the crow at his feet, nodding first to it and then to its master as she turns around. ]

I wish to know what you have Seen, [ he states plainly. ] The current destruction is not something I intend to let go on and I have been led to understand that you may have information pertinent to the source and the surrounding events.

And what if I were to tell you, Lightbringer, that what I have seen is the continuation of times? [ She turns now to look at him, her posture proud and unyielding despite the pain that shimmers in her eyes. ] There are some things that must come to pass. You understand this.

[ He meets her gaze, just as proud (he has always been proud) and just as strong despite how low he's been laid. ]

If I must, then yes.

[ She admires him, in her way, with all of his pride — though some could argue he is nothing but the greatest and most unfortunate pawn in his father's plan. Was it destiny or free will that lead the Lightbringer to fall — it is not for the Morrígan to see, for some secrets are hidden even from her eyes. ]

Yes. [ The Morrígan tips her chin. ] Then know this, fallen one:

An angel will be caught unawares and, because of it we will all suffer greatly. All of the houses will feel the blow dealt. None will be spared. The earth will shake.

It trembles already, [ Lu notes quietly, his jaw drawing itself into a series of sharp angles. The gods move, jostled from complacency, and the earth trembles. It knows, better than they do, what's coming. ]

[ The Morrígan pauses then lowers her chin slowly to make herself look less proud, more even. ] I have told these things already to the hand and tongue of Ra.

[ Lu nods, at that. He hadn't made a deal with the Morrígan, after all, in regards to the dissemination of information. Besides, if there's anyone who'd know what to do with the information, it'd be him. ]
