Whilst 'quarrelsome womaniser' might not be the best quality in a father, a king or a god there's no denying that Zeus is the most formidable of his pantheon - if not the whole heavenly host. A fearless leader and a commanding presence amongst a throng of personalities that are already pretty damn large Zeus is the overarching ribbon of steel that holds the entire sprawling mass of the Greco-Roman pantheon togther. Woe betide anyone who crosses him or his House. Nowadays he spends less time hurling thunderbolts from clouds and more time hurling errant stock market advisors across business meetingrooms. To most unwitting humans the infamous OlympiCorps - a multinational conglomerate of hundreds of smaller companies - is a corporation of mysterious origins and even more mysterious aims; for those of the Greco-Roman pantheon, it is their cover organisation for whatever little hobbies and projects that they choose to pursue in this mortal realm.

MASTER minder : Shiloh Hutchinson - the Astrapios. Gifted with the power of WEATHER MANIPULATION but primarily adept at creating lightning bolts.
APPRENTICE minder : Brianna Ellison - the Brontios. Also gifted with the power of WEATHER MANIPULATION but primarily adept at creating thunderous noise.

POSEIDON |

epicenter | CFO of OlympiCorps

brother of zeus and hades, poseidon drew for shares of the world with his siblings and was given control of the seas. lord of the waters, he regularly gets into arguments when his greedy nature gets him into trouble with other gods and what they see as rightfully theirs. his power is only second to his brother zeus', something which gives him the automatic airs and graces of a 'man' who doesn't need to say please or thank you. he sees no need when he can simply take. he is also credited with creating horses, a gift for demeter who worked out how best to stave off his advances - keep him distracted with difficult tasks. his weapon of old is a trident, though these days he doesn't need it to cause an earthquake with his temper or shatter any object on the earth's surface with a thought. the seas obey his command, something which makes him the prime god of worship to sailors. in summary, poseidon is short-tempered, aggressive and greedy with a tendency to take it out on those around him on a colossal scale if he isn't appeased quickly. on a more positive note, if you do stay on his good side, be prepared to be showered with gifts he's actually worked hard to create for you. that or he might just buy you a fancy yacht.

MASTER minder : taken Thanks to his volatile, unpredictable and sometimes downright violent nature, Poseidon requires a master minder capable of both withstanding and calming his temper. This minder has to take control of situations that get out of hand quickly else they'll escalate until Poseidon has broken someone or something. Distraction techniques can work wonders provided they're presented in the right light. The relationship he shares with his master minder is one of genuine affection, if only because he/she should act very much like his PA. He'll ask for a lot, but in return they are gifted with the ability of WATER MANUPULATION. They'll also be a very convincing HORSE WHISPERER.
APPRENTICE minder : available As someone who will eventually take over the both demanding and sometimes gruelling task of playing minder to Poseidon, his apprentice minder should show real potential and dedication to their role. Confidence should be gained with experience and wallflowers need not apply unless they'd like a premature heart attack. In return for their service, they are gifted with the ability of ROCK MANIPULATION.

PERSEPHONE |

Once a sought-after young maiden who was hidden away by her mother, Demeter, Persephone is now older, wiser, and much more independent. Kidnapped by the Lord of the Underworld and tricked into eating pomegranate seeds, she spends part of her time aboveground and part of her time below with Hades (much to her mother's continued dismay). This duality is reflected in her personality, as she can go from sweet-tempered 'young' woman to Iron Queen in less than a second, especially if one of her long-standing grudges is brought into light. Though she and her husband have one of the more stable relationships in their pantheon, their disagreements (when they have them) are loud and often involve their minders as well. Going by the name of Sarah, she often comes off as a fickle woman who has a habit of going from brunette to blonde to pink depending on her mood (and, more often than not, the season). She works in public relations for the family company – though, of course, when you're in charge of both spring and a lot of dead people, "public relations" can involve either soothing injuries and answering questions or casually making sure problems 'go away'.

HERMES |

Hermes is the second youngest of the pure Olympians, though had found himself long ago to be invaluable to the framework. His jobs are what was left when he was born: the messenger, the psychopomp. He also took it upon himself to become a trickster, patron god of the miscreants of the world. He hasn't done his psychopomp duties in years, not with the Judeo-Christians have the bulk of the work, but for the company he works in what is technically the communications department, running memos and keeping track of what goes on through the great cloud that is the internet. He's the one who understands the internet the best, and back in the day was the first to really get a grip on the telephone. He goes by the name Peter Parker, just to be a little shit, and the best way to get on his good side is to be a tricky little thing like him.

MASTER minder : available The master has been with Hermes for a long time, as he takes rather good care to not get his minder's killed. The master has been blessed with technopathy this time around, in order to keep up with his/her charge. Gender is inconsequential, and patience is needed to some extent.
APPRENTICE minder : available The apprentice has been blessed with speed in order to physically keep up and be, to an extent, the dog-boy's dog-boy. Or girl. Enthusiasm is needed for the position, for he's a hard God to care for.

DIONYSUS |

dionysus is and always will be something of an upstart. the only member of the Dodekatheon to be born of a mortal woman as well as the youngest deity to sit amongst the Olympians, dionysus has had to struggle through his fair share of rough patches in order to get where he is today (and don't even get him started on trying to be born in the first place). most readily recognized as the god of wine and revelry, dionysus sees himself as something much greater than that. having spent a large portion of his youth driven mad because of hera's jealousy, he has personal experience when it comes to the way madness can illuminate a person's mind; as a result, dionysus has dedicated his rule as a god to the perpetual liberation of men's souls from the restrictions of order, rule, logic and morals. whether that deliverance is accomplished through madness, ecstasy or wine makes no difference to him, so long as the mind is left unshackled and this new 'freedom' is obtained. known to be both generous and wrathful, many know — even in these modern times — not to make dionysus angry. while he comes off as sardonically self-deprecating at times, his pride is huge (after all, he did cheat death and the queen of the gods how many times?) and he will not suffer insults without visiting punishment on those who wound his vanity. dionysis may no longer have the Bacchae to do his dirty work, but he's still not above making someone eat their own children out of madness to satisfy his bruised ego. currently, he serves as the Chief Brand Officer (CBO) at OlympiCorps; he is in charge of both marketing and (his personal speciality) public relations.

ALECTO |

wroth | scalphunter for OlympiCorps; Internal Affairs

the eldest of the infernal goddesses of the underworld known as the erinyes, alecto's name translates to mean 'unceasing or implacable anger'. a manifestation of righteous vengeance once charged with tormenting both the living and the dead for their crimes against one another and the gods (most particularly betrayal and the breaking of sworn and sacred oaths), alecto and her sisters thrive off guilt, retribution and blame. although considered violent and cruel and merciless in her doling out of punishment, alecto never punishes a person whose soul is clean — though, in truth, no man is wholly blameless — and never beyond the true weight of their trespass. able to smell guilt on a man's blood, alecto is known to reveal the source of person's blame and them revisit it upon them until they take their own lives — damning them to an eternity's worth of torment in the life-after. in modern times, the furies work as the corporate scalphunters for OlympiCorps; tasked with doing the dirty work for the corporation, there is no task they are above doing, so long as there is justification enough in the ruin the sisters ultimately visit upon people. when there is internal conflict within the corporation, they also double as internal affairs — a role that has won them little love with the other deities. although the furies are meant to be apolitical and have been over the millenia (justice has no affiliation), alecto shows a partiality to hades over zeus, given their time spent in the underworld together. however, even given this, there is no one alecto trusts beyond her own sisters.

DAPHNE |

daphne was once a water nymph who fell victim to the bickering of the gods. when apollo insulted the aim of eros and questioned the potency of his love-tipped arrows, the god of love was quick to prove his mettle: first pricking apollo and then shooting daphne through the heart. only the arrow that skewed daphne was not tipped in love, but made of lead and as a result daphne's heart turned cold as a stone and she spurned apollo and all of his advances, fleeing once he took flight after her. in her desperation, she called to her father — the rivergod, Peneus — who then turned daphne into a laurel tree to keep her from apollo's grasp. finally liberated from her wooden prison, daphne has returned to the mortal world to find it greatly changed from when she saw it last. embittered by her time as a tree, her heart still steeled to those around her, daphne secretly longs for the life she lost — a carefree existence with little to mind except nature, the trees and the river. cold and slow to forgive the great gods responsible for her lament, daphne clings to her dead heart, only to find it slowly waking, her feelings once again stirring beneath an irreversible thaw. though she attempts to be stand-offish and keep those around her at arm's length, both her master and apprentice minders are aware of her internal confusion. daphne claims to still be incapable of loving apollo or anyone else, but this once-truth is slowly becoming a lie, much to her secret alarm.

MASTER minder : available — daphne's master minder would have to deal with her hard, stand-offish outer shell while being mindful and aware of the internal confusion that daphne is going through as her heart undergoes its slow thaw. patient, diligent and a good master to Milen. gifted with EMOTIONAL IMMUNITY (IRONHEART); this means that Daphne's master minder can resist all forms of persuasion, as well as the gifts of other minders/the gods that would look to move them against their will.

ARTEMIS |

With hunting a little less prolific than it once was, Artemis now works hard in the HR department of the pantheon's company. Woe betide anyone caught discriminating against any women there. Like all Gods she's fickle in her blessings- sometimes she will go out of her way to help a woman in distress, other times she'll leave them to their own problems. But, prizing honour and bravery above everything else, she will always help those who have proved themselves worthy to her. Despite her fame for virginity, she has a soft spot for the romances of young women.

MASTER minder : available Must be a lady. Preferably a virgin, must be celibate. Unquestioningly devoted to Artemis (or seeming to). She has the gift of NEAR IMMORTALITY and WATER MANIPULATION.
APPRENTICE minder : available Can be either a young lady or a man, also comitted to her and must be chaste while in her service. ANIMAL AFFINITY.

GANYMEDE |

Once a mortal himself, Ganymede was a prince of Troy. Called the most beautiful mortal in the world, he gained the notice of the king of the gods, Zeus, who abducted him and took him to Olympus. He became Zeus' lover and cup-bearer to the gods. In today's world, Ganymede goes by the name Tuesday Sutton, and works with various humanitarian groups on aid missions in the middle east and Africa. He's also somewhat infamous for having a string of wealthy lovers, none of whom have been in his bed for more than a few months, at best.

MASTER minder : available Someone who can travel everywhere with him, handle his agenda when he's home, and who isn't afraid to get a little bit filthy. Also, someone who doesn't mind being Ganymede's escort from time to time. Blessing - Unnatural charisma; the ability to charm anyone. (Comes in handy to soothe a slighted spouse when Ganymede is inadvertently being a home-wrecker.)
APPRENTICE minder : available Someone who'll work side-by-side with him and tell him when he's letting himself get too attached to his mortal lovers. Blessing - Unnatural charisma.

TERPSICHORE |

One of the Nine Mousai, born of Zeus and a Titan, Terpsichore is the Muse of dance and choral poetry, which in today's drastically changed world brings her closest to musicals and Shakespeare. Today she goes by Lyra Kerry, a dancer and sometimes actress in New York who revels in the stage and does the odd stint on one of those dance reality shows. She's a flighty, light-footed thing, flitting through the world and darting in and out of centuries as though they don't even touch her. Give her a chance and she'll talk endlessly of nothing at all, speaking little of her own past and sounding as comfortable as you please in the modern world- as if she hasn't struggled with the gods, hasn't suffered and fought tooth and nail to stay alive. Everything about her seems energetic and shining, from the gleam in her eye while inspiring to the sheen of her anger when challenged. You'll find her happiest when alongside her big sister Euterpe, the Song to her thrilling Dance.

MASTER minder : available a choreographer, director, or manager figure Terpsichore fell under the wing of- or maybe the other way around. Requires patience and creativity. Gifted with the ability to BESTOW TALENT- but not on themselves.

ASCLEPIUS |

once an upstart half-mortal doctor, asclepius was one of the greats; hippocrates aspired to be like him, years later. he healed the sick with a talent that eventually overstepped the bounds of nature, resulting in the ultimate feat: bringing a human being back from the dead. he was struck down to preserve the natural order of things but revived and deified later on to become the patron god of medicine. sarcastic, brisk and efficient, asclepius wastes no time and gets things done. the most significant aspect of his personality is the desire for knowledge; some might say that he strives to make additions to science because he wants to push the envelope and see how far he can go before crossing the line and indeed, there's an air of arrogance to him, gifted with an obvious intelligence as he is. still, any patient of his will be able to bypass the cynical exterior - believe it or not, the god of medicine has a rather good bedside manner. he's graduated from actually treating people, though. as the head of the pharmaceuticals division of olympicorps, he finds himself growing bored with it more often than not. and yes, he still is rather bitter about being killed; nobody recognizes a good breakthrough anymore.

MASTER minder : available gifted with the ability to CONTROL BLOOD, they should be able to deal with asclepius' surly nature. a background in science preferred, because he'll need help managing his department.
APPRENTICE minder : gifted with the ability to ABSORB PHYSICAL PAIN, intelligence a must.

ASTROPOS, of the moirai |

known as she who holds the shears, atropos is the eldest and last of the moirai — the deities responsible for measuring out the length of a person's allotment of light. as the cutter, it is atropos' task to end each human life at the moment of pre-determined death and it is because of this task that she herself has always been and always will be the most dispassionate and unyielding of the sisters. atropos does not view human life as something precious or a commodity; no, it is simply a ration of time, a length of yarn that must always end. she views the humans she is responsible for 'killing' as no matter than any other mortal animal and, often, shares no love or fascination with them for her job does not allow for such fancifulness. diligent and hardworking, atropos never stops in her task, not even at the urging of her sisters, with whom she has a strained but loyal relationship. because of the nature of their work, the moirai do not have time to maintain lives separate from their responsibilities of spinning, measuring and cutting. as a result, atropos is wholly reliant on her minders to maintain some semblance of financial surety and stability for her. this in no way makes her feel beholden to them; she simply sees it as a necessity task given to a minder to one of the moirai. although atropos will take any of her sisters' minders to task, she will not suffer outside criticism of her own.

once merged with Apollo, Helios was a late addition to the Greek pantheon as a god in his own right despite often being hailed as one of the first Titans. It's all very confusing and, quite frankly, Helios doesn't even care. He's not very good at giving a damn outside of his very particular job of making sure than the sun does its whole... sun thing. A master of four fiery horses and brother to Selene, goddess of the night, Helios now spends the majority of his time ignoring the work of his brothers and sisters at OlympiCorps and instead devotes himself to basking in the light and heat of the sun. Still smarting from the Athenian bias against his devoted cult in Rhodes (when it was claimed that it was 'unfashionable' for any self-respecting Athenian to worship Helios or Selene) Helios has retreated from the mainstage of cross-pantheon politics and prefers to hippy it up with his mortal master & apprentice and the few gods and goddesses (of any pantheon, he's not prejudiced) who fancy joining him in his indolent anti-adventures.

CHARON |

completely impartial to the matters of mortals and gods alike, the ferryman Charon once presided over the river Styx and would take anyone who could pay the fee on their journey across. Perhaps he would also take them back again - if they could similarly provide the right coinage. Nowadays Charon still takes a healthy interest in the affairs of dead souls but only in a business sense, of course. Exacting, fair and humorous, Charon retains his impartiality when it comes to the matters of his House - but that doesn't mean he can't enjoy the spectacle. Always one for moving, he spends his time in a beaten up yellow taxi cab and continues to ferry to odd human around... as long as they can pay the fee.

SELENE |

ladymoonlight | “intern” event coordinator at OlympiCorps

The original moon goddess, Selene was relieved that Zeus did not banish her like he did other Titans. Perhaps it was because of her fickle and somewhat promiscuous nature, that she easily fit right in with the Olympians. Always being overly fond of mortals, Selene had no qualm with having to rely on them and take their form. It only, after all, brought her closer to those she had habits of falling for so easily. Adopting the name “Phoebe Alcott”, Selene spends her time in mortal form as a perpetual college student that “interns” at OlympiCorps. Should she be asked whether she still visits Endymion, she will very casually change the subject. That is no one’s business but her own.

MASTER minder : available Someone who can handle the fact that she falls in love with a good half the people she comes in contact with, which means she may have or will develop feelings for them. They will be blessed with the ability to PIERCE ILLUSION, in the hopes that this will be used if she attempts any elaborate illusions on unsuspecting mortals.
APPRENTICE minder : available The same as the Master in the sense that they need to be able to handle the fact that she’s very quick to fall in love. The apprentice minder will be given the ability to INSPIRE CALM AND LOVE, much like the sight of the moon can achieve.

IRIS |

It was no question that Iris would follow the Olympians into the corporate world, as the Rainbow Goddess remained ever loyal to them. Childish and playful, yet sophisticated and mature when she needs to be, Iris does her best to adapt to any situation needed. Demure and soft spoken are only traits seen when she’s around Zephyros, Zeus and Hera... When around most any of the other pantheon, she is bubbly and playful, something she rarely gets to indulge in. She tends to venture towards the more artistic communities, eager to watch the mortals do what they do best (in her opinion): be creative.

MASTER minder : available Preferably female. Any men will have to be strong enough to handle her over jealous husband, though she will attempt to protect him in any way she can. The master will have the blessing of TELEPATHY, limited only to those they are close to or kin to.
APPRENTICE minder : available Female, unless they can handle the wrath and jealousy of Zephyros. The apprentice will be given a rather trivial blessing, to CREATE RAINBOWS.. So hopefully they enjoy something so silly and trivial.

MEGAERA |

the middle of the three furies, megaera's name translates to "the jealous one". as with her sisters, her area of specialty is also punishing wrongdoers, with a focus on those who haven't been faithful to their marriage vows. in the good old days she could sense guilt and the taint of infidelity from a mile away, and saw no issue meting out justice as she deemed fit. these modern times are a bit more complicated-- ah, for the good old days again-- and while she can still sense a need for justice, pesky things like laws get in the way. as such she's fallen into working in this day and age as wetworks for olympicorps, along with her sisters. it's a good marriage of need and solution-- as long as the need for justice is real, megaera has no limits or moral qualms about getting the dirty work done. (she even enjoys it.) when there aren't outside problems to be handled, the furies function as a sort of godly internal affairs. fuck ups get to deal with their brand of handling things, and it's not fun for said fuckups. other than her sisters, megaera has no real alliances amongst the rest of the olympians: justice must be impartial, and honestly she just doesn't like other people all that much.

MASTER minder : AVAILABLE. Gender is inconsequential, but a strong minded individual willing to devote themselves pretty much fully to Megaera (or someone strong willed enough to serve her without that level of obsessive devotion who won't let her eat them alive for it) is needed. (ALSO DON'T HAVE EVER CHEATED, OR SHE'LL TURN YOU AWAY.) Her master minder will have the ability to sense when someone's being unfaithful, as well as some buffed up fighting stats. (She's rough on her toys, okay.) Nothing extreme, but a little extra in the strength/healing departments.
APPRENTICE minder : AVAILABLE. The same general specs as above for gender and personality types, with the shittier, dollar store version of her master minder's abilities.

JUDEO-CHRISTIAN

GABRIEL |

once the messanger of God, Gabriel now serves his Father as the lead barrister in a modern day company of seraphim-turned-lawyers. Along with his brother MICHAEL (who currently commands the more warlike branch of angels-on-earth in a special forces police unit) the pair are undeniably two of the most dedicated lieutenants of God.

APPRENTICE minder : Knox - a clerk working within the law firm. Gifted with the power of LIGHT MANIPULATION.

PESTILENCE |

Pestilence lives in a big house with his two brothers and one sister, the youngest of the Four, as they pretend to be the children of the deceased Mr. and Mrs. Rider. He has no job, though he does volunteer at various hospitals when he's particularly bored. His believe is, has been, and will always be that the four of them are above the system, above the various pantheons, and only are associated with the Judeo-Christians by choice. To the victor goes the spoils, after all.

MASTER minder : available Will be virtually ignored and avoided by Pestilence. Will have to be a schedule-keeper for Pestilence, keeping him informed on the world population and disease research. Will be made sick often, will be made to act as a servant at times. Gifted with rapid healing and empathy, because they'll need it.
APPRENTICE minder : available Remember how Pestilence ignores and avoids the Master? Well, the apprentice is virtually nonexistent in his mind. Worked as a servant, a dogs-boy, more useful to the Master than to Pestilence. Gifted rapid healing because by God they'll need it too.

one of the high dukes of the infernal kingdom, flauros is both a liar and a magician of the highest order. though he paints himself as a charlatan, he is in fact extremely wise to the ways of magic, in particular the ways to both resist and undo it — something he has something of a reputation for doing. but, the coin is not without a flip side, the same magic he makes a habit of dismantling also has a strong hold over his own soul and if a conjurer is tricky enough, flauros' power becomes their own for a time and he has no choice but to submit. as a result, over the eons, flauros has been forced to destroy many of his demon brethren under the behest of sorcerers looking to free their souls from unholy writs. flauros, of course, has no problem with this save some of the harassment it wins him from time to time from some of his fellow hellish marquises. as a result, he has learned how to be more wily in order to avoid the snares in the first place. having perfected this craft, he spends his time passing himself off as a professional grifter. both of his minders are immune to magic and cannot be touched by the powers of other deities or their minders.

Once his Father’s Archangel of Repentance and previously chosen to govern the army of angels, Uriel now works closely with Michael as a Specialist Firearms Officer within the CO19. He specializes in hostage rescue and counter-terrorism efforts. The angel traded in his flaming sword with which he guarded the lost Garden of Eden and the devil himself for a Heckler and Koch G36 Assault Rifle. It is his new weapon of redemption, protection, destruction, and serves as a reminder to those who sin to remember his Father. He is still, however, a gentler soul, his ultimate goal to protect those who cannot protect themselves and deliver them from evil. The power to harness light – to a degree – will always remain his. Though his holier fires are contained in the weapons he carries, Uriel also remains able to prophesize. It is a pity that sometimes such premonitions lack context. Still, his fires cleanse the wicked, delivering them to the hands of his Father for judgement.

Called the Angel of Mysteries, the Keeper of Secrets, Raziel once stood next to God's throne and wrote everything into a great book said to contain the wisdom of the universe. When Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden, he gave them this book in order to help protect them and teach them what they'd need to know to return home. Horrified, the other angels stole the book and threw it into the ocean-- but instead of punishing him for his transgression, God retrieved the book and allowed Raziel to remain in heaven. Since then, the archangel has walked a very fine line between remaining in his position and falling-- he knows more than any angel ever should, and thus questions.

MASTER minder : available Someone who will need to be able to keep up with his almost manic energy, remind him that he has to eat and sleep and take care of himself, get him out of the library sometimes.. Someone patient, willing to clean up after all his notes and papers and books. They should be willing to accept that he never gives a straight answer to any question, but asks them dozens at a time. He doesn't need especially intelligent people, but they should at least be able to hold their own in a conversation with him, and they should be familiar with the arcane mysteries-- at least those that are available to humans.

although one counted among the four ruling seraphim in god's army, barachiel's responsibility as chief to guardian angels means that he has a direct connection to mankind that grants him an understanding and temperament that some of his brothers lack. criticized for being too invested in humans and known to occasionally walk a dangerous emotional line, barachiel tries to temper his desire to answer all humans' prayers out of compassion with the reminder that faith cannot be bought in blessing. the weight of his responsibilities are nothing compared to those of his brothers, but still barachiel is sometimes prone to sudden outbursts of almost human emotion. unwilling to draw the scrutiny of his fellow angels, he remains fiercely private about his own affairs. he works as a humanitarian aid to the government and, as the angel of lightning, is known to be followed by blue skies wherever he goes, blessing the places he visits with fair weather (at least for a passing while).

once upon a time, azazel was a member of the host of heaven. then he threw in his lot with lucifer-- as his right hand man, no less-- and we all know how that ended. he was cast out, never to return home, it was a huge bummer. once heaven was barred, azazel filled his time fucking with humans: he gave the men weapons and taught the women to put on makeup and seduce people, because he's just that kind of dude. nowadays, however, some of the bloom has worn off that rose. humanity is rather good at sending themselves merrily along to hell without help, so azazel habitually recollects things he's owned in the past and "runs a bookshop" which really means he has a vast collection of shit and he hires people to sell them for him when he feels like it. this is a good business model, largely because azazel has reinvented himself over time, swapping out the general for an indolent, caustic bastard. (nobody wants to buy things from a man who won't get off his ass except to insult their taste.) he still swears allegiance to lucifer despite no longer claiming the title of general (because at this point he can't not stay faithful) but he steers clear of the other angels-- especially those who didn't fall. other than his minders and people who seek him out, azazel is fairly solitary.

Hard to pin down, she is often very solitary in nature and has developed an excellent talent for avoiding her carers as much as reasonably possible.

a goddess of war who ruled over both the victorious and the dead, the Morrígan was once known to take the shape of a great black bird and fly over the field of battle, instilling either fear or courage in the hearts of those touched by the shadow of her wings. known as the mother to fallen soldiers as well as the mother of crows, the Morrígan is both psychopomp and augur, and it is said that she has even seen the fates of her fellow gods through the omens of birdsign. she is an oddly maternal figure with a open fondness for soldiers and though she does not glean near as much worship as some of the other gods, her role as guardian over the souls of those who die in war has kept her flush with power over the centuries. a strong believer that there is strength in a name, the Morrígan has no true alias and simply drops the 'the', calling herself Morrigan. she serves on the board of trustees to several major UK defense contractors, where she has earned herself something of a reputation as a war-monger (albeit an inspirational one).

a goddess whose rule remained localized to what is now known as the city of Bath, Sulis never grew very old or very powerful compared to other gods in her house — though, as a mother goddess, her influence ran deep into the very fundamentals of faith wherever her name was recognized. considered the fount of life, from which concepts such as fertility and bounty flowed forth, her worshippers prayed to Sulis as much for the bad as for the good, often invoking her name for help in cursing their enemies. as a result, Sulis' touch can be as ruinous as it can be generous and, over the millennia, her power has garnered a dark patina that can be treacherous if summoned forth. as a result, neither of her minders' abilities are wholly controllable. they can learn, over time, how better to wield them and what precautions they can take so that they're not triggered accidentally, but all of the gifts from Sulis are as much a curse as they are a blessing. she works as a hostess at the Thermae Bath Spa in what was once her patron city of Aquae Sulis. Sulis generally keeps to herself and likes to maintain a low profile, though her mode of employment does manage to keep both her and her minders flush with power (modern tourism does wonders when your patron city has flourished).

Sometimes she gets lucky and her clients have a dead person following them, but mostly she easily fakes her way through sessions with the silver tongue her father gifted her. The only will she bends to is that of her blood family, so good luck getting her to resurrect grandma.

Known as the Midgard Serpent, Jormungand is the middle child of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboða. As an infant, he was thrown into the oceans of Midgard, and there in the form of a great serpent, it's said that he grew so large as to circle the earth and grasp his own tail in his mouth. Supposedly, Ragnarok would begin when Jormungand released his tail and rose from the waters. Clearly, though, that's not true. These days, the serpent wears the form of a human (though he occasionally slips) and works in marine archaeology, primarily excavating and working with shipwrecks. He usually lives on the beach and spends most of his free time in the water, away from humanity. Even though it's been quite a while since he left the ocean, he still finds himself puzzled and distressed by most of the mortal world.

Son of Loki and the giantess Angrboða, Fenrir and his siblings were considered monsters. At first brought to the halls of the Æsir, though only the god Týr was brave enough to feed him, Fenrir was feared as he began to grow to a monstrous size. Afraid, the gods bound him with three fetters. Fenrir broke the first two, but the third made Fenrir wary. Týr placed his hand in the wolf’s jaws as a show of good faith, and when Gleipnir held him fast, Fenrir bit off his hand. Now he waits until Ragnarok, when prophecy says that he will kill Odin All-Father, though he will then be killed by Víðarr. Going by the name of Fen Lowell, when he's not staying the Helheim away from most of his 'family' in either wolf or human form, he's trying to cause trouble out on the streets. He loves to gossip and he loves having sex and eating even more. He'll go along with the whims of the Norse family reluctantly, doing whatever needs to be done as long as it interests him, but he's not above taking the odd job for anyone else, either. He's also not above making terrible puns and skipping out on the check.

One of the more important deities in Egypt, Thoth is the god of many things, including writing, language, scribes, the moon, magic, equilibrium, and wisdom. He is credited as the inventor of astronomy, astrology, the science of numbers, mathematics, geometry, land surveying, medicine, botany, theology, civilized government, the alphabet, reading, writing, and oratory and the true author of all works of every branch of knowledge and the master of all laws. He is the ruler of Atlantis and judges the dead, asking questions and recording the result once their heart has been weighed. Keeper of the Balance, Thoth oversaw battles between good and evil, healing the gods involved to keep them from overtaking each other. Self-begotten and self-produced, the god who made the calculations for the establishment of the universe, Thoth makes the word of Ra become reality as his heart and tongue. In this day and age, he is the record-keeper, and he is very good at what he does. His private library is rumored to be one of the largest in the world, and he’s more than happy to tell you about it. Prepare for long-winded explanations if you get into a discussion on something he enjoys – and prepare for terrible backlash if you are foolish enough to provoke his wrath. He goes by the name of Thomas Ghannam among the mortals, and can often be found drinking tea, rubbing his temples, and making sure no one kills each other during family arguments.

INORI is the Shinto god of rice, fields and such. He/She (gender is overrated okay? Apperance changes on a daily basis) is one of the most venerated spirits in Shinto, with major shrines all over the country and minor shrines in every farmer's field. Flash forward a few hundred years and Inari is still the god of rice, but also that of prosperity. Something Japan is good at. He/She likes this prosperity gig, and has embraced modern japanese culture, seemingly at the expense of tradition. Inari's love of tradition and pride in his nation are buried deep and shared only with those he feels very close to. There is a legion of kitsune (fox spirits) at his command.

 <uL>Phobos, twin brother of Deimos and son of Ares and Aphrodite, is described as the Greek God of Fear despite being the personification of horror. He skulks through the ages in those dark, twisted little shadows that creep up the spine and extend their tendrils into the back of an innocent mind: he's the fear of the dark — fear of the unknown — and he revels in wide eyes, cold sweat, and the invisible rash of gooseflesh. He views those soft parts that make up the inside of a person as individual pleasures, tender instruments to play with, although after a past age of dealing with autopsies he's decided to take a little break from solids. Liquids — blood in particular — is his current sacrificial fetish, and in working as a tattoo artist he gets to immerse himself in coppery blackened rivulets on a daily basis. Both in an out of work he's a very quiet individual, laconic to a certain extent, and in place of friends he keeps his apartment filled with books, sculptures, and other artworks of questionable nature.
