 <uL>Scáthach is, basically, a mistress of war. She has been deemed one of the greatest martial artists in the world, and young men and women have traveled to her school on the Isle of Skye in Scotland to train throughout history. After training the hero Setanta (Cú Chulainn), she promised her only daughter, Uathach, to him in marriage. However, he ended up sleeping with her rival and twin sister, Aífe, after defeating her in battle. Hurt by this betrayal, she has taken few true students over the past centuries, and has dedicated herself to her work in the human realm.
