okokok. man of ur dreamz here guys. he needs some minders and, again/as usual, i'm not looking for specific genders—i'm cool with whatever. personality wise, it would probably be best if they were pretty chill and relaxed. high-strung people may not mesh all that well. morpheus will be really s l o w moving so maybe someone to help speed up slow tortoise would be cool too. but otherwise, everything is cool and i can work with whatever. now for the cool shit.
master: the ability to INCEPTION!!!!! sort of. but really they can enter dreams and have minor effects once inside. stipulation is they have to be in the same city as the person who's dreams they want to enter. also putting people to sleep by just a touch
apprentice: the ability to place someone into a heavy sleep, too. also can enter the dreams of others but they have to be in the same room and they can't influence anything.

Scáthach needs some minders! The master obviously needs to be able to take a hit and reign in her temper when necessary. Preferably male, because she's attracted to power and would likely choose a male anyway. The apprentice is welcome to be any gender, though he/she should also be able to withstand a godly hissy fit/beat down.
Gifts are negotiable, but definitely extra durability and strength for the master, and probably some kind of emotional manipulation for the apprentice. But again: negotiable!

Since his minders are called for, what I want is really...gods.
1) Arimanius/Ahriman is pretty much his foil, and was also included in Mithraic ritual as the adversary of sorts. I would LOVE if he also managed to survive through the ages. I would also love to CR them, because I bet it gets interesting.
2) MOAR CELTIC GODS. Because he spent so much time up north.

APPRENTICE MINDER NEEDED. idunn isn't a major goddess in the norse pantheon, but she does have one thing going for her. the golden apples that she minds are responsible for granting the aesir eternal youthfulness (so basically she's important because she keeps everybody super smexy), so much so that the one time she got kidnapped, they all started going grey and gross (SO THEY SENT LOKI TO GET HER, GOOD JOB GUYS). she's a little high maintenance in so much that she basically rides on the fact that she's 1) beautiful and 2) needed around the norse house because of the gods' own vanity and so has very few USEFUL LIFE SKILLS beyond that. her minders are something of a combination wingman/confidant/baby-sitter/personal assistant/manager and are expected to serve as a buffer between idunn and the clusterfuck that is her pantheon. they are responsible for not only making sure the right gods get their monthly dose of eternal youth, but also are responsible for protecting the golden apples, keeping them secure and safe, and also making sure idunn is happy. her master minder is felix moody. both of idunn's minders are gifted with agelessness, which means they do not grow any older. this is by no means immortality (they can still get sick, be killed, abuse their body, etc) but a very careful minder can effectively live forever with idunn's gift.
PEITHARCHIA | the spirit of obedience | greco-roman
APPRENTICE MINDER NEEDED. As the embodiment of both the glory and the humility that comes in submitting to another person's will, Peitharchia suffers if she attempts to disobey a command given to her. The more emphatic the command the more pain she feels in attempting to resist it. Peitharchia's minders are meant to protect her against abuses of this weakness; a poorly chosen minder, however (like her current master minder, Gene) can easily bring the goddess to her knees against her will. While Gene can invoke overwhelming and soul-crushing shame in a person who has willing disobeyed a command, her apprentice can reward someone who has obeyed a command with a feeling of euphoria (that, if exposed to too many times, can become addicting). What i'm looking for is somebody who can balance out Gene or at least partially neutralize just how terrible and controlling he is over Peitharchia or at least soften the blow by occasionally using their own power on her. What I'm hoping for is something of a power struggle between the two minders (sob and the rampant abuse of powers).

APPRENTICE MINDER NEEDED. Oźwiena was the goddess of echo in the Slavic mythology. Her figure was connected to the human communication and the divulgation of discourses and actions. As the goddess of gossip, she was unable to keep any secret or private conversation. If she disliked somebody, Oźwiena distorted the meaning of his words. She was also the goddess of fame and glory, being responsible for the storytelling of the heroes' deeds. When she was at the service of the subterranean god Peklenc, she spread the screams of the damned as a warning to the living ones. Both of Ozwiena's minders have difficulty keeping secrets. As a result, both must be masters of spin — rather than spinning falsehoods, they twist their words in order to conceal themselves within semantical loopholes. Although they may not considered trustworthy to other people, her minders must trust Ozwiena and one another completely. Any minder who is caught being untruthful or duplicitous to either Ozwiena or the other minder is soon dispatched and replaced. Her master minder is Dorothy Schwartz. the apprentice minder is gifted with the ability to make a person's name gain either glory or infamy by giving news of it traction in the media. Ozwiena goes where the news is and has several footholds in the media as well as runs a couple of gossip blogs/publications. none can be traced to Ozwiena's name.

- sob hine needs minders baaaaad. she's basically a shut-in and rarely leaves the house (let alone her own head), and just kind of SITS AROUND all day and sleeps and is restless in her own skin because homegirl is stuck with this huge ball of self-disgust. (gee, thanks dad! ... and husband.... :|). her minders would be needed to just make sure she does things like TAKE SHOWERS and GO VISIT OTHER GODS and just SOCIALIZE and do more than her job (which she does quite well; the underworld of the pasifika house isn't nearly so turmultuous as the greco-romans, so it's kind of like herding sheep o-orz). considering her origin story, i thought it was appropriate that hine's master minder has the ability to basically GROW A SET OF TEETH ANYWHERE (sup bodily dentata), whether it be in the palm of a hand or the spot near her bellybutton. her apprentice minder has the ability to outrun anything/not get caught, as long as it's at night.

hedone is honestly one of the more bubbly goddesses. she specializes in sensual pleasure, but she is also the goddess of delight and enjoyment. the minders themselves have to be prepared to probably have her be a bit amorous toward them, though if it makes them uncomfortable, she might try to rein it in. (though she may ask why they have a problem with it repeatedly, but that's because that's who she is.) her minders might need to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid with regards to people and be able to deal with the fact that she's a sex therapist. yeah. minders can be any sex. master minder has the ability to induce sexual pleasure and happiness among those who it would help the most but too much in a small time frame ends up making the minder depressed for at least a day. the apprentice minder is able to see a person's desires and grant them but they cannot grant every single one. both of them are also gifted minor inhibition control in addition to their other powers.

hemera is one of the protogenoi (primeval deities) and is really really nice, and it shows in her treatment of her minders, who she really thinks of them as some of the closest people in her life second only to her husband. they can be any sex and such, and i can definitely see her maybe trying to have a minder that had some issues and trying to constantly make her feel better. the master minder is gifted with the ability to create the illusion of daytime but the longer the illusion is maintained, the more exhausted the minder gets. the apprentice minder is able to bend light to allow themselves to be unseen, but can only use natural sunlight when bending it. both minders are also able to have clear skies follow them.
Malphas | judeo-christian | a mighty great president of hell; commands 40 legions of demons | BOTH MINDERS NEEDED
malphas isn't exactly the nicest person, but his minders are treated a bit better than he treats people. that is he deceives them a little less than he deceives everyone else. his minders can be any sex and any personality, though it might be better if they're kind horrible people considering the powers. the master minder is capable of knowing and ruining a person's chances to gain what they want no matter what but this can only be used once against someone. the apprentice minder is capable of ruining a person's life to the point of making sure they have nothing left. both are gifted with familiars by malphas and they will always be good for them.
Marzanna | slavic | goddess of winter, death, nightmares and darkness | BOTH MINDERS NEEDED
marzanna's minders need to be quite mobile since she hunts the goddess of the sky. also they need to be able to deal with the fact that she isn't a nice person. at all. the master minder is able to give a person a nightmare that scares them to death. the apprentice minder is able to darken a sky with clouds so dark you think it's night. both are also capable of manipulating winter weather but only when it's winter.
Nike | greco-roman | winged goddess of victory, winged enforcer of zeus | APPRENTICE MINDER NEEDED
the only thing that really needs to be known about nike is that she is very demanding when it comes to her minders. sometimes they burn out, and sometimes they last a long time. i'm fine with either sex and they're gifted with the ability to bestow victories to anyone worthy of them. if she finds that they're abusing it, she'll make sure they face the consequences.
also on one entirely selfish note, i'd adore an aither/aether, but the minders come first.
